Savoury Flights & Bites

Savoury Flights & Bites

This wine tour is perfect for folks who are looking to taste the great wines of Niagara's Benchlands

Flat Rock Cellars

Since opening in 2005, Ed Madronich has injected fun and enthusiasm into both the wine and the winery experience. The five-level gravity-fed winery sits atop the escarpment with an incredible 360° view of the vineyards, Lake Ontario and the Toronto Skyline. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, made by Allison Findlay, are the winery’s focus but the Rieslings, especially Nadja’s Vineyard, are consistently recognized among Canada’s best.

Step backstage and gain some insight into the vineyard and cellar operations of Flat Rock Cellars. You’ll enjoy their signature wines in 3 distinct locations around our property, all while being led by a knowledgeable staff member.

2027 Cellars

2027 Cellars was started in 2007 by winemaker Kevin Panagapka and his wife Jodie. Named after the grower number allotted for the vineyard, this winery, based out of Calamus Estate Winery, focuses on terroir-driven, single-vineyard Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Cabernet Franc from the Niagara Escarpment. The focus on ‘Terroir’ and the individuality of every single vineyard creates wines with a sense of place, quality and personality.

Niagara Custom Crush

(The Crush) is Ontario’s newest winery venture.  A community of local winemakers under one roof.  The tasting room provides consumers access to a wide range of wines from premium producers as well as the opportunity to connect with burgeoning or start-up wineries.  The Crush offers state-of-the-art community winemaking facilities, and a retail outlet for multiple independent wine brands. Here you'll enjoy a flight along with a charcuterie box from the onsite cheese shop.
